Community

Lambhill Stables is a community owned hub and exists to serve our local community. We do this in several ways:

  • We hold regular Partnership Meetings for people with an interest in responding to local needs across Lambhill and Cadder. These meetings are open to everyone and are currently attended by residents and lots of local organisations.
  • We invite key organisations to attend the meetings to help us to provide solutions to local issues like: Glasgow City Council, Housing Associations and Transport Companies.
  • We seek feedback from the many groups who meet within Lambhill Stables on how things are going and what support they need from staff.
  • We have nearly 1,000 members of Lambhill Stables who get 10% off purchases in our CafĂ© and the Bike Hub and who receive updates on the work of Lambhill Stables.
  • We seek regular feedback from people who use all of our services and use this information to develop those services to better suit local people.
  • We host both Lambhill & District Community Council and neighbouring Cadder Community Council meetings.

We believe that Lambhill Stables is a key facility in our local area for people to meet up, enjoy the natural surroundings, form groups of interest and take part in community development opportunities on their own terms. We are proud to serve Lambhill and surrounding communities!

We are very fortunate at Lambhill Stables to be supported by our numerous funders, this allows us to provide free entry to the many clubs and groups we have at Lambhill Stables.
